Although we pride ourselves on making our meditation benches and stools by hand we are also mindful  to keep the cost of our items accessible to most people and to ensure that we are able to compete with mass produced, imported and heavily machined goods.

For those needing more support than the T-Stool    

All of our benches are made by hand in Nordic Redwood pine which is a renewable source. It is a relatively soft wood which means we do not have to resort to excessive machining when working the wood. 

Whenever possible we avoid all metal screws, nails and fastenings as we prefer to hand dowel (the exception is the foldable bench)

We finish the wood by applying natural beeswax by hand which gives a wonderful silken honey tone.

If you would like more detailed measurements please let us know. We are also able to adjust our standard measurements to cater for individual requirements so do please ask for details - we'll be delighted to hear from you.

DELIVERY CHARGES
Delivery cost is £4.85 per single item within the UK mainland (the Hip Support & Head Rest costs £4.05). Multiple items will be quoted depending on the size of order. Carriage charges for overseas orders will also be quoted on request.

WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS
Wholesale discounts are available to meditation & yoga schools, institutions & retreats. Please do not hesitate to ask.

PAYMENT
For single items we will dispatch as soon as we receive payment in full (incl delivery cost).
Bulk orders will be produced on receipt of a 35% deposit with the balance payable prior to or with delivery depending on the courier used.

CLASSIC MEDITATION BENCH

Our CLASSIC MEDITATION BENCH is what started it all...

We became very interested in the study of mindfulness which included following the 8 week MBSR course pioneered by Jon Kabat-Zinn and offered by Bangor University. As novices to mediation we found that the suggestion in the course notes to use a bench to aid comfort during meditation was a great idea - so we did!

A fortune would have it this came at a time when we had decided that we wanted to offer a variety of products that we could make in our Hereford workshop that would use natural, organic and renewable materials. As a result we decided to develop a series of benches and stools that would be able to help people of all ages, shapes and sizes to enjoy their meditation practice in comfort while, at the same time, employing a grounded posture.

THE T-STOOL MEDITATION STOOL

The T-Stool was designed with economy of materials, weight & space in mind. This provides less support than the other benches and stools and so is meant for practitioners who enjoy a good sense of balance and who are perhaps close to dispensing with supports of any kind.

Like all the other supports it is hand made & finished with our natural beeswax and it can also be altered according to specific requirements provided the overall structure remains the same.
