Our CLASSIC MEDITATION BENCH is what started it all...

We became very interested in the study of mindfulness which included following the 8 week MBSR course pioneered by Jon Kabat-Zinn and offered by Bangor University. As novices to mediation we found that the suggestion in the course notes to use a bench to aid comfort during meditation was a great idea - so we did!

A fortune would have it this came at a time when we had decided that we wanted to offer a variety of products that we could make in our Hereford workshop that would use natural, organic and renewable materials. As a result we decided to develop a series of benches and stools that would be able to help people of all ages, shapes and sizes to enjoy their meditation practice in comfort while, at the same time, employing a grounded posture.
